What tool’s do you value most in your shop? For me it is my woodcarving tool’s and my collection of lie Nielsen tool’s. I could handle if anything ever happened to my stationary or power tool’s but parting with my handtools would be like loosing a best friend. What are your favorites?

It's got to be the old chisels I've accumulated. Some old Stanley's, Buck Bros, J. Swan, Eskituna and a few no names. Each has a character that would be imposible to replace. My 65 block plane is on the list too I guess. Tough question when you think about it. For me it also boils down to which old hand tools. When power tools have character, its a bad thing usually. Though to get attached to a power tool that is 2 years old. A 100 year old plane is a much better companion.

Timber,
My favorites are my workbench and table saw. They have had the biggest impact on my fledgling attempts at woodworking....and they deliver consistent quality.
On the hand tool side, I'm still learning my old planes and love the new LN dovetail saw, but, again, still learning..
To me its the tools that were my Fathers, I have all his tools both hand & power tools and when ever I use them I think fondly of him.....
Not to sound to simple.
I have 16 different routers I like using routers
But the tools I value most My fingers!
I shot my right index finger with a bounce fire from my PC framing nailer
two months ago it is still stiff enough it gets in the way sometimes.
I'm lucky it only grazed off my knuckle.
I can replace my tools !
I have some old hand wood moulding planes that belonged to my 2x great-grandfather. I've only used them a few times, but I get a lot of satisfaction and a sense of connection when I do.
