Does anyone know of a method to artificially weather cedar? We are doing a restoration of historical barn and I am trying to match that silver hue of weathered cedar. Thanks.

Cabot's makes a bleaching oil stain that helps cedar weather to the silver gray color you are looking for. The stain has a slight sliver gray color when first applied, but after 3 to 6 months the bleaching crystals do the rest..
Thanks for taking the time to respond.I'll give it a shot.
