I’d like to know which water borne finishes you prefer for spraying. I’m looking for a product I can spray through a 3 stage HVLP system. It would be applied to mainly house trim, doors, windows and occasionally cabinetry
any help would be appreciated.

Try Target PSL. You can get all the info on it at
http://www.homesteadfinishing.com.
Stuff is really hard with high solids content so it builds fast. Recoat in 2-4 hours with 100% burn-in between coats.
Tints to look like nitro lacquer.
Downside is that is smells faintly of cat pee until dry.
+/- $30 per gallon.
CAG-- I've been very happy with the Crystalac line. I get them thru McFeely's ( http://www.McFeelys.com). I generally use the Premium 2000 finishes. They have a sampler kit to try out.
I'm very happy with Enduropoly from Compliant Spray Systems. I spray two coats 15 minutes apart wait 30 minutes level with 220 and shoot the 3rd and final coat. No complaints. The color can be warmed by adding a teaspoon of their stain concentrate per quart of finish or they sell it already tinted. I haven't tried the Endurolaq yet, but may do so. http://www.compliantspraysystems.com/John O'Connell - JKO Handcrafted Woodworking

ELCOHOLIC-- someone else recently recommended the Compliant line to me. I'll have to try it. As far as spraying Crystalac goes, my procedure is similar to yours. I recently spray finished three interior pine doors with three coats per side in one day. I only use water based finishes and have not had any serious problems with them.
I like the enduro coat and use it all ost exclusively. I really like the white poly its the bomb. Be sure to use the sanding sealer with the clear. It seems to make the top coat go on better. with the white you definately need the white under coat. they you can use it on mdf also.

I've been very happy with the Fuhr product line from http://www.homesteadfinishing.com. They even have a finish for restaurant and bar tops that is unvbelievably hard yet sprays like a dream and sands very easily between coats.
My vote goes with the Target Coatings (www.targetcoatings.com). I use their Premium Spray Lacquer (PSL) for most uses and one of the other, more durable, finishes when needed.
I like their pigmented PSL as well; replaces the need for paint.

My vote is for Enduro. Dries quickly to minimize dust collection, I can stain, seal, and coat in a day. Important when I have my shop shut down ( unable to make dust) for finishing.
