Has anyone had any experiences with water based urethane yellowing ? I want to use it over white paint but I don’t want it to yellow.

Yellowing depends on the resins the manufacturer uses to make the finish. Some do have a slight amber cast and get a little darker with age. Others are very clear and stay that way. I like the super-clear waterborn polyurethane from Target Coatings but there are probably other good brands as well.
