Anyone used the 3M product fast bond? It’s water based and not cheap. Id like to use it if it’s as good as the petroleum based stuff. If not I won’t.

Joey,
I use Titebond's Post-forming Neoprene Plus Contact Cement in my shop. It's an excellent adhesive that sets up quickly, and always delivers a 100% performance. You can find it at any of the big box stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc...) (Green can w/ red writing - about $5 per 16 oz. can)
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

I've used the DAP product for years. 12+ years ago, I put down some countertops in a county fair booth that sits in the cold/hot weather with the only protection being from getting rained on and they are still doing just fine.
Seems that those conditions are just about as severe as you could want. The stuff doesn't take the top of your head off either.
Joey-- I've used the Formica brand water-base cement for years and have been very pleased with it. It takes a little longer to dry, depending on the humidity. Its much better than dealing with all the fumes from the solvent- baesd cements. BTW, just because a solvent-based cement says its non-flammible doesn't mean you can use it near an open flame. I nearly killed myself by running a kerosene heater while doing a glue-up. I didn't realize that the cement I was using gave off a chlorine gas when exposed to an open flame. I learned to read all warnings that come with the products this way<G>
