Hi Gary,
I just purchased some very cool walnut burl veneer and it is a little wavy. I was wondering how to flatten it and maybe even soften it a little before trying to glue it down. What do you think is the best method?

Hi,
I would wet down both faces of the veneer with a damp cloth and then lay it on a flat surface with some newspapers to cover it. Weight it down with some wood or plywood and a couple of hand planes. Shouldn't take too long to get it flat. Have fun.
