using an Emco-Rex 2000 combination machi
Is there anybody out there who has such a machine? I purchased a second hand one and it came with a box of bits, both large and small and I’ve been trying to work out what goes where ever since. Does anyone know where I can get a manual from? The company in Europe stopped making these machines many years ago. Here in New Zealand I think they are as scarce as hens teeth.

Emco machines are also rebadged and sold by Metabo, by the way. I had one of their Moritz tablesaws and it was a fine little machine, in engineering and performance terms.
This isn't your machine, is it?

thanks for the info. It looks like Emco have gone into only milling machines and lathes, and they say that my combo machine went out of production a long time ago and no, they don;t hold any copies of old manuals. No help there.
The Metabo machine looks similar, and certainly does all the same things, but is probably an improved version of what I have. However, if I contact them I may be lucky to be able to get a manual to help me unravel the workings of my machine.
