Used Planer blades What do you do with them?
Does anyone have a good idea to re purpose used planer blades some how? Im talking about the “Disposable” type from bench top planes like the dewatl 734 . It seams like a huge wast to just use them and toss em when they get dull.

Maybe...
... marking knives?
Dang...
That's a great idea - my Makita blades are reversible, so if I grind them to a v-point I'd have a double-beveled marking knife...
How about making fine paring chisels from them?
If all else fails, they can go in recycling bin.
I use them for tools to scrape deer skins for brain tanning. I'd be happy to take some spent blades off your hands if you just want to get rid of them :D
