I have an option to purchase a used General 90-240 Bandsaw for $950. I can’t seem to find much on them. Any thoughts? Good, Bad? Worth the money?

I've never owned one, but my impression is that General International makes decent tools. This model is listed on ToolKing for almost $2K, so the price seems about right if it's in good condition.
General has been around for quite some time as a premier tool maker.. They make some outstanding tools in Canada, and to sell to price sensitive buyers (and who isn't these days) have developed the General International line for Asian imports, which do seem to be of good repute.
