I am guessing you want something like this. Never heard of anyone describing a cover for a unifience but folks seem to struggle with adding hold downs to the unifence which I find to be useless and slows the process of cutting for the most part.

I have a Unifence, but haven't needed to cover it up yet.

I've used wooden fence covers before to 'bury' the blade, whether it is a dado blade or a general purpose blade, right into the fence.
My use for it right now, is to cut a 4° taper on the high dimension of a 3/4 x 4 inch stock. Since the saw allows only for a right tilt, I want to bury the tip of the blade (as it's angled) right into the wooden fence; then I can cut the taper into the pieces.
Another use is a dado can be partially buried into the fence allowing for easy rabbet cuts w/o moving the fence for different dimensional pieces.
Let me know any suggestions anyone else has.
I've just clamped a piece of scrap ply or melamine onto the fence face.I could see the clamps might interfere with tall stock but haven't run into the issue yet when I want to bury the blade.
Nevermind to all. Simply putting my fence on the other side of the blade will work just fine. Rookie mistake :)
Cross,
Remember that on the Unifence you can remove the "fence" section and bolt anything you want to the head. Google "unifence jigs" and you'll see what others have come up with. I use a homemade tenoning jig on mine all the time.
Best!
