Hi all, I’m a new member but an old hand. I am having trouble locating a lifting mechanism for a TV. I remember seeing a couple in the catalogues which inundate my shop, and always wishing I could find a project which would require one. Now I have the commission but am unable to locate the mechanism. They both raised and lowered the TV one used a scissors lift the other a rack and pinion, and were priced just under $1,000.00. So if anyone out there can help me locate one I would be most appreciative.

Thanks Tom I'll try that although my wood skills far surpass my computer skills.

Probably the best known name both sides of the Atlantic is Auton http://www.auton.com/ - they are high price and high quality. I believe that Hafele also act as a distributor.

Thanks Scrit I will look into them.

I will second the auton products. I built a projector cabinet about 10 years ago and used one of their lifts. Quality stuff.
