I screwed up.
I planned for years to use my black walnut 4×4 posts as my spindales for the railings in the house,, however the more I look at the room the more I’ve decided that black walnut spindales will be too much of a contrast.. I’ll now have to get some white oak and since we are speaking about 4×4 sizes (no flimsy spindales for me!) ` we’re also speaking about 4 or more years of drying time..
I know green wood is turned all of the time, my concern is will they warp, bend, dance the hootcie cootchie, or cause me any other sort of problems as they dry if I install them green? (or near green)

That depends on how well you choose your wood. Don't use anything with grain deviation. Stay well away from the heart, and no reaction wood.
Basically choose as if you were going to steam bend it.
