   I purchased the bandsaw. It's in very good condition save two parts.

   The lower blade guide was broken so the blocks couldn't be held in one one side and the ball bearing blade support was locked up. The guide is only seven dollars for a Delta.

   I took it apart completely and lubricated everything.

   It's an import from Taiwan. It looks like it's 80's. It's all solid cast iron construction.

   All in all, I'm happy with it. You can never go wrong with fifty dollars.

   Trojan Band saw Lower Guide

   Tyrone, although you wrote about your Trojan bandsaw in 2011,  perhaps you will see this message.  I have access to what appears to be a Trojan bandsaw since your photo shows a bandsaw exactly like mine.  As was the case with yours the lower guide is broken so that one block cannot be secured.  Someone likely over-tightened the set screw breaking the housing.  

   As you also found, no parts can be found on the Internet.  You succesfully found a Delta lower assembly and I wonder if you could tell me where you got the part and from what model of Delta it came from.  If you would share that information, I would be very appreciative.  Did you have to jury rig the Delta to fit the Trojan?

   Trojan band saw

   I have the same band saw and just broke the same piece.  If you find a source for parts for this saw I would certainly appreciate knowing about it.  My saw is a Trojan TBWS 14 manufactured in 1988 and lists "Major Industrial Supply" in Vancouver BC on its name plate.
