I recently read the article on Triton routers in FineWoodworking Magazine. I visited the WoodSmith Store in Des Moines, Iowa and asked them about Triton routers. They informed me that they did not handle them any more, due to so many people having problems with the switches on them. I would like to know if this problem still exists or if it can be corrected. I like the idea of using it in a router table instead of a router lift. Could somebody please advise me on this problem.
Thanks. Masonry1

I wonder what the trouble is? I have a Triton. Like it very well. The switch can be tricky to turn on, because you have to slide the safety plate back and puch in fairly forcefully. Turning off is not hard at all, however. as long as you press on the correct end of the switch.

Have a look at the review for this router that FWW did.... I now own one! Probably one of the best on the market.
I just purchased a Triton a few weeks ago. It works great. No problem with switch. I actually like the added safety feature of the switch cover.
