I have the 1400 watt model and really like it, others don't. It is a bit tough to search this site any longer but do google on Triton Router Discussion and you will get lots of input. Triton recently went though reorganization of sorts and are now distributed in North America by HTC Products.

I have the 3-1/4HP unit mounted under the table and have no complaints. The switch seems a bit odd and takes a bit to get used to (sliding cover over rocker), but other than that, no complaints.
I have on mounted in a table as well. i quite like it, but The switch does take getting used to.

I've had my 2 1/4 hp for almost two years and love it. It is great for table mounting and there's no need for a lift attachment. True, the switch takes getting used to, but I prefer a separate paddle-type safety switch on my table anyway.
I have a Porter-Cable too, but find that when I have more than a little hand routing to do, I'll dismount the Triton from the table and use it instead of simply getting out the Porter Cable.
Pros: No lift needed for table mounting; very accurate height adjustment from above the table; single wrench for changing bits; switch is mounted for easy use hand-held, though a little awkward when table mounted. Takes the same Rockler router table plate as your Porter Cable (and can use Porter Cable bushings too).
Cons: The built-in dust port takes a funky Australian hose that you can only get as part of a whole dust system (I have a separate thread asking if anyone has solved this).
Dollar for dollar it's a great router both as a hand-held plunge router and for mounting in a table. I'd definitely buy it all over again.
I like the Triton 2.25 HP router , especially mounted in a table. I picked up another one recently as a spare.
I recall wondering where to get the 1.25 in hose and found the correct hose in the Ridgid 1 1/4" Accessory 5 piece Detailing Kit Ridgid Part No. VT2524
The hose supplied is fairly long , enough to set up 2 of these routers in a router table.
Here is a article I wrote on building a router table for the Triton router.

I have the 3 1/4 HP in my cabinet saw table and love it. Got around the switch thing by leaving it turned on, and plugging into a switch/receptacle mounted beneath the table, within easy reach.

I have the 2 1/4 HP model mounted in a table and like it a lot, but the switch needs to be off to switch bits above the table. I grope for the switch every time I need to flip it, and more often than not I need to get down on my knees to relocate it. Still, it's pretty handy to be able to switch bits above the table and with a single wrench. No real regrets on my part -- just the occasional naughty word as I feel around under the table for the switch.
I, along with others, have stated that the switch takes some getting used to. That said, I have gotten used to it and don't even have to bend over to turn the router on or off. However, the speed dial is on the opposite of the switch, so one will always be more accesable than the other.

I've had one for a couple of years. I'm very pleased in every way. I use it mostly in table mounted mode so I can't really speak to it's handheld useability. But the few times I have used it that way, I've run into no problems or things I wish I could change.
Thanks, guys, for all the feedback; it's very helpful

I've had mine for a couple of years and am well pleased.
However, the company was broke for a while. I have not followed the story. Does anyone know its present status?
I've owned a Triton MOF001
I've owned a Triton MOF001 since May 2009 and managed to strip the worm gear of the micro adjuster right off the bat by using it to lift the router for a bit change while table mounted. The worm gear is injection molded white, nylon looking, plastic and will not take any torque beyond what's required for fine adjustment. In a web search for a fix an excellent free website was found for any repairs to the Triton MOF001, http://www.raygirling.com/dismmofl.htm , it also has info at the very end of the article for repairs to the Triton TRA001. To lower torque on the worm gear I've removed the plunge spring and will not use it when the router is table mounted.
