I see Klingspor has the above brand small plunge router on sale for $99.00. Is it a good router? I would like to hear from someone who knows about this tool.

"Is it a good router?" What would you be using it for, Bonkda??
Inlays, hinge mortising and other light work.
Ahhh, good, you see it as a light-work little machine. Somebody was going to ask, so I figured I would. ;-) Sorry I don't have any experience with that model.
If you Google in Trend router T4 you'll find some articles about it. T3 will get you a Benchmark review of that tool.

I didn't realise Trend were attempting to make inroads into the US market. They are a long established company here in the UK that started off selling router bits, sawblades, and the like.
They moved into making accessories in the '80s to fit the Elu range of power tools, with Elu best known for their routers. Elu routers are still revered here in Europe even though they were bought out or merged with Crap and Pecker and morphed into the DeWalt brand. I know many a maker still working their old Elu routers hard, and I don't think Elu's name has appeared on a power tool since the early 1990s.
Trend started selling routers at about that time: I think the manufacturing is subcontracted, but I could be wrong on that. Their routers were to all appearances very much Elu inspired and they have a generally good reputation-- not stellar, but generally good.
I've seen and used the little T4 a few times and in my experience it's a good little machine for the light work you describe. I wouldn't want to try and do heavy work with it, but it's not designed for that kind of job. I can't tell if that's a good price though as I'm no longer particularly familiar with the price of similar routers available in the US. Slainte
