I’ve seen recently tradesman tools in lowes lately. I’m guessing it’s there awnser to ryobi and home depot. Does any one know if there any good. I know they are not a porter cable but i find that with certain types of ryobi stuff i’m quite satisfied. Specially because the things of ryobi i own i don’t use much anyway (just specific jobs). I can’t always justfiy a porter cable. any thoughts??

They are fine for the pricepoint. I have a jobsite tablesaw from them that I paid $100 for five years ago. I'm not going to tell you its great, but the fence is sturdier than most others in that price range. Use your best judgement. My guess is that the comparable product from Ryobi is probably a little better. You can't expect much for that kind of money.

I haven't seen tradesman but they have to be better than ryobi. Ryobi's are the biggest POS I've ever seen. The ryobi cir is more dangerous than a nut with a gun.
If you don't want to spend that much, why not buy used? There are usually a handful of places that sell used brand names like makita, bosch, bostitch, hitachi, etc. Pawn shops always have lots of tools. Also, check out refurbished tools, you'll usually save at least 25%. Amazon has those from time to time.
Around here, Tallahassee, pawn shops want almost as much for nearly worn out tools as you can buy them for new.

Buy every freakin replacement part u need for it now because invaribly lowes will trade suppliers in about a year and "tradesman" will dissapear ..like "Pro-tech" they used to have ( Ihave there $100 tablesaw) Maybe they took all the yellow ones and made them red now.
I think I'd rather stick with Ryobi...maybe not the greatest but ok for the DIY'er....Hit 'em hard, hit 'em fast, SHOW NO MERCY!!!
