I bought an old Total Shop tool for next to nothing. Do you know if there is any place to buy parts or accessories? An internet seach did not reveal any sources. Thanks!

Google "total shop tool" with the quotation marks and when the list of sites comes up click "cached" at the end of each listing, you'll find a few useful bits of information, most all of it from years ago. Near as I can tell the company is out of business and it is possible that some of the accessories for the Shopsmith tool will fit yours. If it is like the Shopsmith, the best use for it would be as a drill press and horizontal boring machine, and possibly a lathe. The table saw set up on these types of machines wasn't well designed.
If you are patient you will probably find components and possibly a manual for the machine on E-bay. Set up a search for it and then save the search and have E-bay e-mail you anytime something comes up.

John,
As a former owner of a Total Shop, the company is out of business and only a small amount of parts for a Shopsmith will fit a Total Shop. I have seen some parts, whole machines on E-Bay but these are few and far between. During my last move the movers dropped mine and with the insurance money I received my garage is full of individual machines. The Total Shop had a better motor than Shopsmith and the tables were made of steel rather than aluminum but cutting bevels with the table saw was a bear.
