I have some neutral wax that I would like to tint to a shade that I can not match at my supplier. Can I tint the wax? I am thinking using pigments from an oil based stain.
Thanks in advance.

I've done this often with beeswax for floors -- I don't see why it wouldn't work with any type of wax.
I heat the wax until molten and stir in universal tints to the color I need -- I keep stirring as the mixture cools to prevent separation.
