Hi,
We have a nice cabinet made by Riva in Italy – it uses very elegant stainless steel (or nickel) threaded shelf pins in threaded sleeves.
Does anybody know where I could find any ? I have searched far and wide …
Thanks !

Maybe these? http://www.hitechglazing.com/product/43238/40284 If not. perhaps contact the manufacturer. Good luck, Chris
These look great ! Lee Valley does not appear to have them, no ... only brass.
Lee Valley ?
Hafele lists some in their catalog which are nickel-plated steel, 4 mm OD by 17mm long, with an M4 thread on the end. The hiccup is that the minimum order is 500 pieces. If you only need a few, I'd get a some M4 machine screws and thread washers on them to form something about the right size and shape. I'd use these improvised shelf supports on low shelves where they can't be seen.
Pezzi..
I think you and your mate should travel Italy looking for the hardware.. I hope she will love your inviting her along!
When you find it let her select the color! Then tell her you had the hardware at home and just wanted to do something for her.. Slip the hardware supplier your credit card while she is not looking and have the hardwre sent to where you work..
Just a thought.
Nice idea ! We actually lived about three hours by car from the Italian border (we are German, now living in NJ) ... traveling with the two little ones would be a challenge right now but you bet we'll go back there eventually on a nice vacation in northern Italy :o)I'll ask the manufacturer, maybe they will share who they buy the inserts/pins from.
traveling with the two little ones would be a challenge .. You are the parents!
Kids do what you want them to do. Or at least try.... However every child has different ideas on what you told them to do!
