I would use mineral spirits

Like JeffS said or without the thinner try heating it up using a double layer electic glue pot.

What brand of tung oil is it? I ask because most cans of Tung Oil Finish aren't tung oil but something else--either a wiping varnish or an oil/varnish mix. Unless it says pure tung oil or 100% tung oil it isn't tung oil.
Unlike red wince, tung oil does not improve with age. Test the drying time before you decide to use it on a project. I prefer turpentine to thin tung, BLO and varnish since part of the turpentine, unlike mineral spirits, remains to chemically bond the material while remainder gases off.

The product is Minwax.
Minwax Tung Oil Finish is an oil/varnish product. The oil used is linseed oil and it contains no real, true tung oil at all. That said, pure tung oil has a virtually unlimited shelf life as long as it is kept in a sealed container. An oil/varnish however has a relative short life. If it is older than a year, I would just discard it and buy new. Finish is a relatively low cost component of a woodworking project and it make no sense to take a chance using old product.Buy the way, if you want to be more frugal, you can easily make you own oil/varnish mixture. Just mix equal parts of your favorite varnish or poly varnish, boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. Apply it exactly as the instruction on the Minwax calls for. You'll actually end up with a more durable finish than had you used the Minwax.Howie.........
