The end of last year I posted a message where I said how glad I was to have woodworking as a diversion from the pressures of my job. Well, now I get another opportunity to take advantage of the power of woodworking. My wife was diagnosed with multiple myeloma about two weeks ago. 52 years old and never sick in the many years we’ve been married. Thought it was sciatica. No such luck. That coffee table I’m working on is going to burn up a lot of energy.

I'm at a loss for words, except to say that you and your wife will be in my families thoughts.
Jeff
Many thanks.
I am sure you are trying to cope with the news about your wife's disease. I am sure you have gotten a lot of advice so I won't pile on---Here are two good websites for information regarding MM.

good luck to you both
Thank you. I'll check these out.
Sorry for your family's troubles. I hope everything turns out alright.
Many thanks.
I too am at a loss for words but if you ever need a shoulder to lean on or someone to talk to, email your phone number to me and I'll call you.
Best Regards,
Bob @ Kidderville Acres
A Woodworkers mind should be the sharpest tool in the shop!
I am so sorry to hear of your wife's illness. I will say a prayer for her and you tonight. When my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor two years ago, I too used my woodworking to focus on. Hang in there!
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
My heart goes out to you and I will pray for your wife and you. The creator of the wood and the creator of your skills is an awesome God. I'm glad He gave you this outlet.
Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
What kind of coffee table are you working on?
