Guess I’m entitled to make ya’ll jealous..So my lovely wife Anna Marlene’s  (yeah, named after cousin Marlene Dietrich) father heads off for his yearly 4 month stay in der Fatherland.  So I tell him the last time Annie and I were there a year or so ago that I was gonna by some chisels, but got side tracked and bought some other stuff I needed. (at the time the $ and the euro were about 1 to 1, great rate, spent way to many $$$)  Told him to keep and eye out and get me a 12mm and a 20mm Two Cherrys chisels.  Anyway, Annie comes home after visiting ‘ol Andreas with a complete set of  “Kirschen Werkzeuge” teilig.  (2 cher. chisels) And, get this, 12 carving chisels selected with advise of the local tischler meister. (sp…Cabinetmaker, who really knows his carving chisels!)  All of them perfect…finish incredible, backs (at least on the flat ones, ha ha) as flat as a pancake.  Must of cost him plenty, especially with the exchange rates now, and he won’t let me pay for ’em….dunca,  Vater….
