Does anyone have a recipe for Teak Oil for furniture? I just used up the last of an oil which I liked and it is no longer sold. The oil I was using was very thin and did not build up on the wood. The only ingredient which was named on its label was turpentine.
Thanks, one and all,
Rich

Most "Teak Oil's" are just a plain old oil/varnish mixture. Also known as "Danish Oil", "Tung Oil Finish", etc.
I use a Watco Danish Oil that I thin about 50% with mineral spirits. I wipe it on with a white scotchbrite pad, let it set for 15 minutes and then wipe it dry. Been doing that for 30 years on both a teak table and a walnut credenza.
