Hi Everyone,
I just received a rather heavy box via UPS. Made of plywood with dadoed sides and what appears to be liquid nails and screwed together too.
If you knew who sent this to me you would have thought would have been made out of Baltic Birch, at the least! Care to take a shot at who sent it, I mean guess of course?

I would be more concerned with what appears to be an open gas container in a closed vehicle.
sevans,
The cap came off when I was taking it out of the Jeep. So I emptied it into a weedwhacker, with the top securely on. It's bone dry as that was on Saturday.
I hear Ya loud & clear!

Naw don't do that.
It's a used machine I'm in the process of purchasing from a fellow dennizen of Knots.

It's the prototype carton (sans label, which would have given everything away) for your soon-to-be-on-the-market breakfast food "NH Granite Flakes." Looks like the Large Family Economy Size.
And something to do with a motto like "Gives you less gas and more go."
Shhhuuuusssss, don't tell anyone yet. I'm still working on the patent.
That darn Old Man keeps gettin in the way.

Morning Bob...
"If you knew who sent this to me, you would have thought that it would have been made of Baltic Birch, at the least"!.... bob
**************
Well... nothing like waking up in the morning and finding you've been insulted early! My lovely lady is still trying to figure out why and where the boxed end table from the formal living room went? :>)
Southern yellow pine is all ya gettin' for the price ya paid for the shipping and mortiser. And.... when you do manage to get it open, I want the sheet metal screws from the lid and the Tite-bond III glue remnants back as I will re-cycle and put back in my stock bins. :>)
BTW.. ya might donate that box to the local SWAT team for their bomb disposal squad. Those Al Quieda boys couldn't get it open when they hi-jacked the UPS truck and let er ride. Good luck gettin it open! ha.. ha...
And speaking of re-cycling.. those long dadoed sides were done in about 6 minutes with my new "dedicated dado cutter" that is on it's second re-cycle at this point. Sure was nice not having to set up for dado head.. take it down.. replace rip blade.. etc. Just roll it up to the machine area, make the cuts on a scribed line and roll it back for the next dado affair.
Enjoy...

Sarge,
NEVER in my wildest imagination would I even think of insulting you. I couldn't believe it when the box arrived.
I've even gone so far as to recommend you to all the manufacturers for running their shipping departments for them. I regret to inform you that you will not be able to retire soon. That way I can beat you to it, hoping for next year for me.
As for the Tite-Bond III, I can assure you that it is some kinda tough stuff! It took three men and a boy to get it apart! OK, I'll send the stainless steel screws back.........
You had to be a Sargeant First Class!!!!!!!!

Hey Bob..
Not concerned about insults as I'm a grown boy and that's small change.. but if my lovely finds out where her matching end table is, turn out the lights in Georgia. Transporting borrowed (he...) merchandise across state lines is a federal rap and the Homeland Security boy's could show up at any time with one call from her cell phone.
Just kiddin', of course as I have to get ready to go in and get my "final" pay-check before dinner at Atlanta Federal Pen. ha.. ha... ha..ha..ha..
Regards from the "Big House"...
