I have been researching overarm blade covers and splitters that would fit my cabinet jet table saw. I have read about the Exaktor and the GTC overarm table saw guards. It seems that I need to spend an extra $100.00 to buy a support bracket for the jet table saw. I have also read about the merlin splitter and a new one that is made of a durable plastic like material for $20.00. I want to buy quality regardless of price………..that is why I have a shop full of jet power tools.
Thank you.

It isn't exactly clear what the question is.

You might have already seen this article, but it offers a good overview of your options for aftermarket splitters and blade guards. John White also has developed a number of shopmade solutions for fences and splitters here in our shop. If you can narrow your question, he should be able to offer some advice...
