I just put the wings on my Jet Cabinet Saw. I checked the flatness of the top and I could not get a .005 feeler gauge thru anywhere but right around the blade. Around the blade general area .008 would not go under my straight edge. I used a 36″ starret straight edge to check this. I checked across the top in several places and from corner to corner. Are these acceptable? Seems pretty good to me but just checking. Thanks for your info. RICK

This subject was just mentioned a short time ago. It's been my experience that most manufacturers allow .015" on a tablesaw so you are in good shape

Grab some wood and go rip. You're good to go!
The NASA boys would get an ulcer trying to get it much flatter!

Thanks Rick and Sarge. I had read some of the old post but a lot of numbers were being thrown around and I just wanted to make sure I was OK. Rick
