Hey!
Since you are new here, I will warn you that many, if not all, of the opinions you will receive about saw fences will tell you to buy whichever one the poster has in his/her shop.
You should check them out yourself at a good hardware/machine seller. Generally speaking, in my opinion, you will get what you pay for in accuracy, quality, and ease of use.
You need to remember though, it is just a guide to run lumber or sheet stock against to make a parallel cut. None of them are perfect and they will need to be checked and adjusted regularly. I think one of the most important features is the ease of adjustment.

THANKS HAL, THATS VERY GOOD ADVICE ABOUT THE STORES. I WILL CHECK THAT OUT AND LET U KNOW HOW IT GOES!
I've owned a Vega and 2 Biese fences and loved them all. The Biese is a terrific fence and probably my preference overall, but the Vega is usually the better bargain IMO. It's a nice fence in it's own right, it's easy to install, and has a great microadjust.

THANKS KNOTSCOTT, IVE USED THE BIES BUT ITS PRETTY PRICEY THE VEGA IS NOT CHEAP RITHER BUT I MUST GET A BETTER ONE THATS WHATS ON MY SAW!!!
The Jet Exacta, Biesmeyer and HTC are almost clones of each other.
As another person posted and advised, Go visit a WW Store and try them on for size.. But if your clever and handy enough making a Biese clone wouldn't be a too awful difficult, The toughest part would be making the camed lever.
Work Safe, Count to 10 when your done for the day !!

BRUCE MAKIING A CLONE IS NOT AN OPTION . I WILL GO TO THE STORES AND CHECK OUT DIFFERENT FENCES.THANKS
My opinion. I used to be like your post comparing pricey items vs. lower cost. But, experience has taught me that, for an item of such long usage and longevity, price should not be the first consideration. Let's say the very best is $150 more than the next best. Now assume you will be using 5 to 10 years, at least. That's $15 to $30 per year or $1.25 to $2.50 per month. Is the better one worth it? Is the savings on the cheaper one worth sacrificing accuracy, ease of use, quality and dependability? These are questions only you can answer. But, worth thinking about.

BILLY YOU'RE CORRECT WITH THE PRICING . IT SHOULD NOT MATTER WHEN YOU'RE GOING TO USE IT OFTEN . I KNOW ABOUT TRYING TO TAKE THE CHEAP WAY OUT,IT BITES U OVERTIME!! I SHOULD FOLLOW MY OWN RULES IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE IT OFTEN SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY BECAUSE U END UP BUYING ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE THE LESS PRICED ONE COULD NOT HOLD UP TO THE CONSTANT USE!!
