I don't think I fully understand the intent of the post. If you're expressing your satisfaction with Forrest and Freud products, I'd agree....great blades. If you're stating that these are the only two blade brands on the market worth the money, I'd strongly disagree.
I've had very impressive results from Infinity, Ridge Carbide, and Tenryu Gold, and excellent results from DeWalt's Series 60 and 40, Amana Tool, CMT, Systimatic, and Ridgid Titanium (Freud), and very good results from Leitz Pro, Leitz/Irwin, Leitz/Delta Industrial, and Tenryu RS.
One caveat of generalizing by brand name is that many brands have multiple lines with different quality and price levels. I've been disappointed with blades from lines like Irwin Marathon, Oldham Industrial, Delta Sidekick, Bosch Construction, Skil, Vermont American, and have even gotten mediocre results from a top CMT Orange blade once.
Value varies with sales prices, which can really lower the cost vs MSRP....I've managed to snatch up some amazing values on the former DeWalt Series 40 and 60 blades made in the UK. If I were to judge by MSRP, I'd have to give the nod to Infinity and Freud as representing the best value overall.

The CMT blade didn't stay as sharp as the Forrest did and it left more tear out. With the Tenryu blade being about the same price as the Forrest I used what I new would work. I was told that it is comprable to the Forrest blades. Whether it is or not I don't know. It gets pretty expensive testing blades.
So basically you are talking out your arse.
