I installed a Sunhill spiral jointer knife kit in my Delta 37-190 jointer. It wasn’t parallel to the outfeed table, so I shimmed it as the Sunhill tech suggested. Unfortunately, the blades cannot be made parrallel to the outfeed table! At either end, the knives are always higher than in the center. This doesn’t seem to be a good setup. I’m thinking I’ll have to go back to the original Delta cutterhead. What do you think of this spiral cutter setup? Thanks, Ron

I only got to play with a Sunhill spiral head once a few years ago, so I don't have much experience with them.
One possibility is that the tables of your machine are crowned, which you should check just to be sure. If the tables are flat crosswise, then it would seem that the fault is with the Sunhill head since the blades are creating a curved surface. If you plane a board on the machine is the planed face curved?
