Hi everybody
Can anyone help please, I have been searching for some time now a 6″ steel rule with markings on the end.
Lee Valley tools offer one for sale but the postage to the UK is silly for such a small item , has anyone got any ideas.
This rule is not available in the UK.
Best magazine ever for woodworkers.

If woodworker suppliers don't have it there you should try a machinist's supply house.

Try Dieter Schmid at fine-tools.com German company. He carries Incra rules. One of these should work.

Starrett makes a number of different styles of them, you can go on line & order or find a starret dealer that might have them. In Seattle - Hardwicks has them & way more other woodworking tools that some stores that call themselves woodworking stores & better prices too. (LN tools for less than on line)
Try Brown & Sharpe. I have a 6" rule scaled like you want, but I bought it back in 67'
Work Safe, Count to 10 when your done for the day !!

General has one--their part no. 307. See their website, http://www.generaltools.com
Woodcraft Supply has them.
I have one from Starret that has small scale on the end. It is a 6" one, If you can't find it locally the sometimes show up on E-bay.
