I’m looking for a reasonably priced hvlp spray gun that will give me a decent finish with water based lacquer. I have a three stage turbine. Also any brand recommendations would be helpful. Thanks…

Be extra careful with the WB gun selection. I specified that I would be using WB product primarily, had some problems with the equipment corroding & rusting, now cannot get support from the company that I purchased it from.
Chucky,
For water-based finishes, it's best to use a spray gun that has stainless steel fluid passages and needle/nozzle. The solvents in water-base react with other metals.
You can use a spray gun that doesn't have SS fluid parts, you just want to make sure you don't let the finish sit in the gun when you're not spraying. If you spray a coat and then give it a couple hours to dry, it's best to empty the gun and rinse the fluid passage well with warm water.
Are you looking for a gun brand or water-base lacquer brand recommendation?

Brand names would help, thanks...
Turbine HVLP spray gun - the Accuspray #10 gun is top of the line and also works with a compressor. I have some Graco turbine guns and they spray very well. The Wagner turbine gun sprays well also.Water-base finishes - I've used or tried a number of brands and like the finishes from Target Coatings (http://www.targetcoatings.com) the best. They have a water-base lacquer with 100% chemical "burn-in" between each coat.

I thought I would hop in and remind that I'm selling two unopened gallons of Target Ultima Semi-gloss.
Contact me if your interested, their new and unopened. Shipping carton isn't even opened. Have extra from last job.
I'll open the carton and sell single gallon if you want, $25 gallon plus shipping.
Its the same price the business I bought them from wants for a return. 25% restocking fee. Mildly tweaked since they have already made money on the sale (the other stuff I bought) and would just put it back on the shelf and sell it full price, about $35/gallon. Handling=open carton, put back on shelf.
Would rather give someone a deal than give them the money twice.
