I am looking for a satin or semi-gloss solvent based (not water) lacquer for spraying. Any help please.

Although it isn't recommended, I've been spraying Deft with nice results. Parks lacquer is still widely available. Sherwin Williams has a professional coatings division.
Spraying lacquer
Do you thin the Deft lacquer? Are you spraying with a HVLP gun?
Lacquer
Is this for a Guitar body ?
Also you can go with a gloss and rub it to satin -

No, this is for furniture and house trim. I would go with a high gloss on a guitar body.
Lacquer
For furniture and trim I can't add anything more then Hammer supplied to you for products -
Most lacquer finishes require thinning. It's a balance between nozzel size, air pressure, and fluid feed. You may want to pick up some retarder - it will give you the ability to brush lacquer on interior trim.

Thanks for the information
I use an HVLP conversion gun, DeVilbiss Finishline with a #3 HVLP air cap. Most of the professional lacquers come ready to spray, I use Deft straight from the can, too.
