I’m having a problem with my #10 Accuspray gun. I am spraying WB black lac and after I spray for a few minutes the lac tends to build up in the nozzle. Then if I stop, then pull the trigger again it spays a large glob, then thins out to regular spraying until I stop, then happens again.
I did a test and closed the fluid delivery valve completely, then pulled the trigger. It shot a large glob then after about a minute it stopped spraying anything. But then I waited a couple of minutes and did it again and the same thing happened.
Any ideas of what is wrong?

Most common - low fluid volume. Changes with attitude of can if bottom feeding. To use small amounts, recommend a gravity feed. Check packing lube (sticking needle) and tightness of air cap, clean airports (jets) on air cap (pipe cleaners WITHOUT metal core. Poor mixing, wrong viscosity and filtration are other problems. That gun takes a needle size of .021 to .110.
Lacquer needle for that gun is recommended at .036. You might need a larger needle is all else checks out.
Great gun!
