I’m trying to find a source for a small (11/32″ x 3/16″) embossed molding. It is an accessory molding in the wall panels of my dining room that I am restoring and they need to be replaced. The original pattern I think is called “lamb’s tongue” but the size is more important than the embossing. I can find all kinds of larger moldings but have struck out on this small size. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well you got me acornbob. It sounds more like a carved molding than an embossed one. I'd try contacting someone like Phil Lowe at the Furniture Institute of Massachusetts. He does reproduction work and museum restoration work. He would probably know. http://www.furnituremakingclasses.com
Good luck.
