I am thinking about posting photos of this sleigh bed I just built, but am concerned that I will get eaten alive by critics! I would like to get opinions and help so I can improve my skills. Is it common place to post photos and have people critique it to learn? I’ve got about a 90 hours in this and would like some feedback so I can improve.
Please let me know thoughts.

I've posted a few things. Even if things are built ik a style or period that I don't like, I can still appreciate the effort time and love that goes into what we all do. So post it, I love to see what others are doing.

I think you will find most of the people who respond to your photos will do a pretty good job of complimenting you and giving you some feedback (a neutral term) in a very professional manner as to how you could improve.
And, yes, there could be someone who says things in an unneeded, abrasive manner. Just ignore the way they say and see if there is any truth to what they are trying to say.
You simply decide if you want corrective and helpful feedback so you can learn to improve, or do you want people to lie to you.
I think you will find it a helpful process.

Jeff: I've only seen people eaten alive when they make a "political" comment not a review of one's work. I've yet to make anything I feel good enough about to post but maybe the next project.........KDM
