Any one had experience with a shopbot or a torchmate which has a plasma cutter on it The torchmate is a couple grand cheaper

We had some prototypes done by a local guy with a Shopbot. He was very happy with it for the money. There's forums dedicated to this type of equipment if you do a search. There's other compnies like Techno-Isel that deal with the smaller CNC. Woodweb has a forum on CNC as well as metalworking forums. I'd contact some of the manufacturers to get hold of local users in your area to go visit. I don't think this is your best forum to search for CNC info.
