| Got some pictures of the shop, it’s about 95% done. I don’t know how I went with out a DC and AF for this long. It’s actually inspiring to work in a shop where the dust isn’t floating around all the time. I have some more PVC to run and a wall to enclose the DC and furnace and a couple of sheets of drywall to hang. I didn’t get around to getting the furnace hooked up but with winter almost gone I’ll probably wait till next fall to do it. Tony |

Shaper Origin Handheld CNC Router
The Origin has a touch screen that controls a small trim type router motor with a 1⁄4-in. collet. The machine’s handles are comfortable, with an orange button on the left handle for retracting the cutter and a green button on the right that starts the cut and is the “Enter” button for various commands. It’s intuitive, doesn’t require dedicated space, and can provide lots of shortcuts to complete projects quicker and with less stress.
Grizzly G0495X Industrial Helical Cutterhead 8-in. Jointer
Regardless of the board’s grain, this jointer produced excellent results. Its fence was totally flat, worked smoothly, and locked well, staying in place even after jointing multiple edges. Getting the fence to 90° was very easy, but the 90° stop was a little tricky to set and the fence did not go back to square when using it. For those who would use it, there is also a digital depth-of-cut scale.

Thanks all.

It’s actually a 7” coming off the Cyclone. Running 6” has a lot of suction. I have 6: to the TS (contractors TS) and there so much suction that nothing makes it out the back of the saw.
Timber: It is the 2hp the cost was $1050.00. It’s a whole lot quieter than my Craftsmen Shop vac. It’s tolerable but once I build the wall around it and the furnace it will just a low hum.

The floor is concrete but being down for two months to get everything else done I haven’t even thought about the floor. The furnace is a NG small house furnace (Amana 80 69,000btu) that I got for $.150.00 because they had it on-site and knockout the wrong side for the install. Right place right time.

Looks great. Did you happen to apply Oneida's advise on reducing from 6" to 5" coming off the collector?
Very nice, is that the 2hp Onieda? Can I ask what the cost was? Is it on the loud side or no?
Thanks
Dale
Nice bright shop, is your floor concrete ? and have you considered anything different such as anti-fatigue mats. What type of furnace do you have ?
