A while back (maybe quite a while back) there was an article on a sheet good handling cart that was used to take plywood from a pick up and either stack it or go straight to the table saw. As I recall it had adjustments for height.
Does anyone have plans for something like this?

Hi Mr. Bishop,
This doesn’t ring a bell. I’ll ask around here to see if anyone else is familiar with the article.
In the mean time, are any of these articles helpful to you or on the right track?
A short piece from John White has drawings of a lumber rack on wheels: http://www.taunton.com/finewoodworking/subscription/Community/QADetail.aspx?id=29727
Here's something about fixture for carrying sheet goods on a short-bed pickup:

Andy Beasley’s article on lumber storage has info on a fixed sheet-goods rack:

Here’s an older article on lumber storage by Matthew Teague that talks about one sheet-goods solution:

Ed I have seen a photo of that in one of the Tauton books on Small Shops, but no plans were available either. Looked fairly simple to build. Do you have a photo or would you like me to hunt down the page and book it shown in.

I think I found the article you're talking about--it's attached here. I'm not quite sure why it's not already online.
The article is by Fred Sotcher, FWW #160 page 80. There are some plan drawings in the article but it says "height as needed."
