setting knives in a little Ryobi joiner
I have a 30″ Ryobi bench top joiner( I think its JP-155) that I believe went out of production years ago. I do not use it much and am looking to change the blades for the first time. Naturally I can not find the manual that describes the process which I am sure invloves some little jig that probably came with the tool. When I try to use my regular magnetic jointer knife setting jig the bolts that secure the blade are not accessible. Anyone have this tool?

Not sure about the Ryobi brand but many manufacturers have their manuals available on line.

Unfortunately, Ryobi doesn't have manuals on line. When I wanted one for my AP12 planer, I had to register at their website before I could look at anything on there. Then I found out that they would SELL me a manual, but not give me one.
Ordering parts was a pain as well. I needed a belt, and it cost as much to ship the belt as the belt itself cost.
That was a couple of years ago, so they may have changed things.I haven't been back to their website since that experience.
I hope your experience with them is better.
