Anyone have any experience with the Senco SLS25XP finish stapler? Also, any thoughts on whether a 1/4″ or 3/8″ crown size would be the most useful for general woodworking/cabinetry?
Thanks

I have the Porter-Cable and love it, the 1/4" crown seems fine for almost every cabinet use.
I agree with napie -- I have the 1/4 inch Bostitch. I use it for woodworking, and for trimming houses. It works well, and the divit is reasonably easy to fill.
But there is a divit that needs filled. If you're looking for something to hold on a bit of trim, that leaves almost no mark, you need to look at the 23 gauge pinners.
Unless you're the lead dog, the view just never changes.
I have the Senco FinishPro 25XP 18g brad nailer, and I love it. No oiling and a 2 year warranty:

After I get the finish nailer, the 41XP, the stapler is my next target. I'll be interested in what is said about the 1/4" vrs 3/8" crown width staples for general woodworking.

Lee,
The reason that I was considering the Senco stapler is that I have both the brad nailer that you have and the finish nailer that you are looking at. Both have performed very well. They have been easy to use, have plenty of power, I have never had a misfire with either one and I prefer the oil-free design. I think that you would be happy with the finish nailer if you decide to go that route. I haven't been able to find anyone who owns the stapler, and can't find any place locally which stocks it in order to take a closer look at it, but was considering ordering it blind based upon the performance of the other two tools.
Thanks,
Bruce
