Anybody here had experience with the senco battery nailers? I have read a few reviews, some say they love it, others say these nailers have some jamming problems and senco needs to work the kinks out. I like the thought of not having to drag air hoses around while doing installations All comments welcome.
Thanks

Check with the folks at breaktime. Builders use nail guns more than furniture makers.
I talked with both the store manager and lead service tech about the Senco battery nailers at The Tool Shed (Greenville , SC ). They have sold quite a few of them, and still have them on the shelves. Both said that they had a high return and trouble rate with the Senco battery units and recommended that I go traditional pneumatic instead. The manager’s opinion was that Senco shouldn’t have released the units. His recommendation reduced the amount I spent that day, so I think he was speaking openly and honestly. Good store. I have never gotten bad advice there, and never had my questions received with a blank stare and wacky advice as is commonplace at the Borg.
The nailer I bought instead was Senco’s 18 gauge FinishPro 25XP. It’s been a great unit so far. I don’t use it for my better furniture, but have found plenty of use for it on Class B casework, fixtures, and jigs.
As noted, the Sencos seem to have problems.
Compressor driven guns are best, but if you want to go cordless, Paslode is probably the way to go. I've had one for 5-6 years, and it has always been reliable.
Try a search at Breaktime; there was a thread in the last couple of weeks, and the Paslode was the consensus choice among those folks.
