I picked up a used PC Saw Boss last night off of CL for a song ($50!) but it needs a new blade. It takes 6″, so my 6 1/2″ blades for my bosch cordless won’t fit. Any suggestions on a great blade for this saw?

I ended up with a Freud Diablo 40T "finish" and a #### 36T combo. Put on the Matsu 1st ... cuts 2x stock like butter. I'm a lefty and blade-left is my pref -
thanks for your input guys. I'll give feedback after using both
Brad,
Just so you know, all Porter Cable circular saws are (or at least used to be) available with the blade right or left. I have a 6 inch and a 7 1/4" Porter Cable that have been used professionally and daily for quite awhile and they still work very well. I really like the magnesium base on the 7 1/4". It's lightweight and very strong, I saw one fall 25' to 30' from a roof (no it wasn't mine) and it didn't hurt the base or the saw at all.

I dig the mag saws ... I'd like the blade-left framer with brake (424 mag?). I have a 20 year old PC builders saw model 315-1 - haven't seen one like it anywhere. Awesome metal box, too. Heavy as heck ... hence my appreciate for the sawboss. I've had a PC 18v saw and it was much nicer than my current Bosch.
