To All Knotheads,
Thanks to all for your continued postings. Please keep them coming not only as a reminder to you but for the benefit to others. It’s somewhat like the effect you get when you see a police car, you slow down, even if you are on the speed limit.
My next door neighbor loss an eye from a kickback from the tablesaw. He was not wearing eye protection. So sad to see something like that happen when eye protection could have prevented it. Now if he gets an eye problem such as macular degeneration, he’s out. Bob

Ya its kind of funny. I doubt my entire way of working will be changed, but I will certainly look at my tools differently, take a little more time, when I get home tonight after reading lots of the recent posts. Here's a true story for you about my shop teacher in 6th grade. The year previous (I was not there) he was showing kids how to use the bandsaw and he said "whatever you do don't push the wood like this and made an "L" with his fingers on each hand, pushed the piece or wood throught the saw, and cut off his right thumb. He had it reattached, but had trouble moving it when I took the class. I guess its a classic example of "do what I mean, not what I say/do". On that happy thought BE CAREFUL!
