Hi All,
I am looking for a list of the various recommended RPM settings for my new drill press. I use various wood bits, sanding disks and a mortise attachment.
Thanks Roger

I haven't been looking for this but I always needed one.
Big help

Thanks a lot. They are a lot slower than I thought. I've been a one speed man except for big bits which came with a recommendation.
Rod
Thanks. I laminated the sheet, punched a hole in it and hung it next to my drill press.
Thanks BG for the info. That looks great. Any idea what speeds are recommended for a mortise attachment? I have purchased a Delta attachment for my drill press?
Thanks again Roger
Roger,
My guess is that if you call Dela support that would provide the best answer. I noticed, however, that the Delta 1450 runs at 1420 RPM's and I did read a positive review on using the attachment with a 1/4" bit at 1100 RPM's.

Thanks BG
I coulda used this earlier today. This tells me that I've been running way too fast with bigger (1-3/4") Forsner bits.
Thanks, BG.
