I am making a shutter with an oval curved top and need to route the concave part of the wood with stile bit. How can this be done on the router table? Thanks Bob

I prefer to make an arched fence with close tolerence around the bit. As always, it may take several depth settings to complete the cut. Sometimes, you may need to climb cut the reversing grain. This is best done by nibbling from the end about an inch at a time. You drop the work on the bit so you don't have any material left behind the bit or the work piece will go flying.
