Does anyone know where I can buy a router plate 11 3/4 x 8 predrilled for either a Ryobi RE600 or a Porter-Cable 690 router?
if anyone sells a router plate that is 11 3/4 x 8 and is predrilled for a Ryobi RE600 or a Porter-Cable 690 router.

Almost all of the router plate manufacturers offer predrilled mounting plates, especially for the Porter Cable machines which are very popular.
11 3/4" by 8" isn't a common size for table inserts, 9" by 12" seems to be the most common, who makes an 11 3/4" by 8"? Although it can be fairly exacting work, drilling a router plate for mounting a router isn't all that difficult.

Eagle America makes the plate size 11 3/4 by 8.
Any suggestions about mounting the router?
Fortunately, Eagle America has solved the problem for you and saved me a lot of time telling you how to home brew the parts needed. Go to their catalog and you will find, in their router table section, an item called "extra long mounting screws". They are actually a kit with the needed mounting screws, plus a a second set of pointed screws to mark the drilling locations on the plate, and a little jig that centers your router over the hole in the plate. They have kits, for $5.99 each, for both of your routers.John White
