Can anyone help with chapter and verse about shipping rosewood internationally?
I’ve been told by a merchant in the US that he may not be able to freight me some rosewood veneer for legal reasons.
I know there are international prohibitions of some sort on some species, but veneer?
Can anyone help?

Humm. Which type of rosewood, and have you talked to more than one supplier? The one which is hardest to find, or impossible in lumber form, is Brazilian.
Honduras, Cocobolo, Bubinga, and Bolivian are available here in solids and veneer. If they can be shipped here, I don't know why you shouldn't be able to get them also.

That's what I thought! But I don't know that for a fact. Surely someone can help!
