Hi, I picked up an old Rockwell stationary belt sander CE6446, it’s a 6″ x 48? maybe? It’s missing the top roller and mount. Are there old tool junkyards? I can’t believe that parts are still available but are there any on-line sources that you know of? I’m still trying to track down a parts breakdown so I’ll have some part #’s. Does Delta figure into this anywhere?

I would start by going directly to Delta at deltamachinery.com, they should have a downloadable copy of the manual and parts sheets. They may have the parts you need, they keep a large inventory and they are possibly still making the same machine.
There is a source, separate from Delta, that specializes in parts for older Delta machines, but I can't give you a contact for them until I get back to my office on Tuesday.
A good resource for information on older machines is owwm.com, a web site for old woodworking machinery buffs. I did a quick search there for your sander and didn't turn up anything useful, which was a surprise. They also have a classified section where you might find what you want or you can post what you are looking for.
Another good source for parts is on ebay, a lot of guys are parting out machines, with luck and patience you might find what you need.
P.S. I ran an ebay search for "Delta sander part", with "search title and description" checked and turned up what sound like the parts you need currently being auctioned. Good Luck
