   are you sure that you are still veiwing "all" messages?

   willy,
   The way it works, I believe, is you will not see it again until there are new posts to the message. In other words, it does not present to you stuff you have already read. Once there is a new message posted then it appears when you sign on.

   Willy, look at the very bottom of th e right-hand frame (at the end of these posts).  If there's an option for Advanced View, click on it.  If the option presented is "Basic View" just leave it alone.  Worthless, IMHO.

   Once you're in Advanced View, at the top of the left-hand frame, you'll see a Show Discussions... drop-down box.  If you click on the arrow, you can see

   • All discussions
   • 2 days back
   • Today
   • with Unread messages (the default)
   • with Unread Msgs "to Me"
   • of High Interest (those you've posted in or otherwise indicated as high priority)
   • I've Recently Seen (I use that one alot if there's one I just looked at and lost)

   forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

   Close to the top of the left hand column there is a box, with "Show discussions..." above it. If the box says "with unread msgs" then any thing you have already read will be hidden until something new is added to that discussion. You can click on the box to change to "all messages" or several other options which will change what you see. Occasionally, for no obvious reason, the option choice will change itself.
